又一位大牌球員退出美國男籃隊！美國男籃主管科朗格洛（Jerry Colangelo）今天宣佈，灰狼前鋒洛夫（Kevin Love）因自己的未來不確定而退出，不會代表美國男籃征戰今年夏天的賽事。

這是繼阿爾德里奇（LaMarcus Aldridge）、葛瑞芬（Blake Griffin）宣佈退出後，美國男籃隊失去的又一位內線主將，他們的離去對美國男籃的影響還是非常大。

「事實上我們只能看看我們現有的球員。」科朗格洛說，「我們的任務就是完成這項工作，組建一支非常有深度的球隊，我們很期待儘快開始。」

美國男籃隊計畫從7月29日開始至8月2日在拉斯維加斯進行集訓，然後再敲定最終的12人世界盃參賽名單。

由於西班牙世界盃在8月31日才開戰，因此美國男籃隊還可以補充其他內線球員，「我們將會做相應的調整，但是在這個階段，還沒有補充其他球員的計畫。」科朗格洛說，「當然，這也為其他球員提供了機會。」
