尼克買斷世界世平和尤德利剩餘合約

戰績不如理想的尼克宣佈，買斷前鋒世界和平（Metta World Peace）和尤德利（Beno Udrih）的剩餘合約。

尼克總裁兼總經理米爾斯（Steve Mills）表示：「我們很失望，沒能與本諾（尤德利）和世界和平合作到合約結束，感謝他們這個賽季為球隊做出的貢獻，祝他們好運。」

世界和平與尼克簽下兩年、年薪大約在160萬美元的合約，其中第二年是球員選項。他現在可以以自由球員身份加盟其他球隊，但會失去球員選項的權利。

「兒時的夢想就是能為這座城市打球，現在這個夢想已經實現了。」他在聲明中表示：「最後，我要感謝紐約的球迷們，感謝我的隊友、教練，更要感謝尼克的老闆，給我實現為家鄉球隊效力的夢想的機會。」

世界和平本季出賽29場、平均13.4分鐘，被買斷合約後，他希望加盟熱火、馬刺、或是雷霆。
