終於可投球 田中：覺得解脫

休息將近一個月，洋基日籍投手田中將大5日進行60英呎傳接球，在防護員與翻譯的觀察之下共投25球，沒有任何疼痛感，田中還表示覺得「解脫」，而目前球隊尚未訂出明確歸隊日期，日媒與美媒各推測，8月下旬到9月是他可能的復出時間。

上個月9日，田中手肘出現不適，初步診斷是手肘發炎，後來更詳細檢驗之後發現韌帶局部撕裂，大約至少得休息6周，而將近一個月沒有用力投球，田中5日首次施力，進行60英呎傳球，大約投25球，過程中沒有發現異狀，接下來就是看第二天的情形是如何。

如果一切安好，6日田中將進行第二次傳接球，而且會逐漸拉長距離和加碼投球量，他對此表示，「我不覺得擔心，而且能夠投球讓我感覺更興奮。我覺得可以進行下一步了，所以感到解脫。」為了避免進行手肘韌帶移植手術而整季報銷，這位25歲好手做了許多努力。

至於總教練吉拉迪(Joe Girardi)表示，「如果你覺得不舒服，那是件很挫折的事。所以今天是正面的一天，但還是有很長的一段路要走，還是要田要繼續耕，他了解自己該做什麼。」

目前普遍認為田中做了一個正確決定，即使這個決定已經讓他休息了一個月，所幸得到的結果是正面的，因為沒有他感覺不到任何疼痛。田中對此還是很保守地做出結論，「這很難說，很難在上面做任何評估。」
