成功「射日」中華白奪第5名

雖然無緣四強，中華白隊17日將士用命，與日本國家隊鏖戰至延長賽，最終以73：71險勝，帶走2014年威廉瓊斯盃第5名。

兩軍此役一路互咬，上半場落後2分的中華白在第3節施展快速球風，周儀翔連續跳投命中、胡瓏貿強攻籃下，最多領先8分。

第4節最後2分鐘，日本開始強攻籃下，拉出6：0攻勢，中華白靠著胡瓏貿單打、陳孝榮補進進攻籃板，死守1分領先。

最後53.8秒，滿原優樹趁著中華白回防不及，輕鬆放進兩分，並完成「三分打」將比數追平，中華白最後一擊陳盈駿沒能掌握，雙方加班。

延長賽，陳盈駿連飆2記三分球，周儀翔再補進兩分，雖然日本最後一波進攻仍有逆轉機會，但沒人能扛起責任，直到蜂鳴器響起也無人出手，讓中華白帶走第5名。

胡瓏貿攻下全場最高18分，另抓5籃板，陳孝榮「雙十」12分、13籃板，周儀翔貢獻10分。

成功「射日」後，今年這批「中華小隊」任務宣告結束，亞洲盃亞軍、瓊斯盃第5名，表現可圈可點。
